Personally I am using 3 threads, 100mb chunk and 700mb RAM allocated. The formula to calculate the minimum RAM allocation is

But you also need to make sure that CloudBerry has enough RAM assigned to support the number of worker threads and chunk size. I read somewhere that Backblaze B2 stores in 100mb chunks or blocks and the recommendation was to try and match the incoming "chunk size" from Coudberry to that of Backblaze.

I have since been tweaking the options under the advanced settings. It seems to happen with very large files over 1GB (home video archives).

I was hoping this recent update would fix it but my backup stalled again this morning. Yea my backups to B2 seem to randomly stop as well. The update crashed the docker, so had to reinstall the cloudberry docker, but it works fine now.Įdit: the backup stops after some time, is that just a bug for me or does it happens for others too

Likewise, whenever you modify any files within that folder, just run the backup plan and you’re good to go. All added files should appear in your cloud storage. Then close the pop-up window and run the backup plan. Under Repository, click Synchronize Repository, and then click Synchronize Now. Before you run the plan, ensure that all repositories are synced to avoid reuploading large files. If you have enabled encryption – make sure that you use the same encryption type and the same passcode. Launch CloudBerry Backup on the “slow PC” and create the exact same backup plan as you did on the “fast PC”. As you see on the screenshot below, 2 files were added (their names start with "NEW"). Now let’s get back to that very folder on the “Slow PC”, add a file to it and do the same process again. Notice that we only have 7 files in the “Doсs” folder. Your data should now be successfully uploaded into the specified folder in the cloud storage. Upon finishing, select the Run now checkbox and then wait until the backup plan execution completes.
